An everlasting canvas that is stunning as it is. Then pair it with light; the all encompassing palette of innumerable hues and mixes of every colour imaginable.
It’s no wonder that the simple phenomenon of a sunset, results into a spectacular event splashed across the western dome of the canvas.
What gets better is that it occurs everyday, unlike comets or shooting stars that are visible but for a moment, and may need better scientific tools or predictions to get a closer, clearer view, or auroras-the dancing lights, the breathtaking wonders that are seen only at certain geographical areas.
It just shows how simple things, no matter how spectacular, cease to amaze us, when we know that they are around us, and when we think that they will always be. How easily we forget the value of tiny blessings in the form of either people, words or actions that touch our lives everyday.
If the sunset was a play, that had to be featured every day-
“Alright guys. This is it. Everyone breathe in.. breathe out. And…. CUE”
*A well organised 10 minutes later*
“Excellent work people. It was strikingly beautiful”
“Did you see how the last bit timed so well!”
“We are on a roll”
“Do you think they noticed?”
“Ah….”
“… I think so..”
“Come on guys! How could they miss it! Great job. See you all tomorrow”
