It is hard to go on life’s paths alone,
And at many moments you may want someone around.
But you see, no matter how many people you meet,
It’s going to be only you at the end of the day.
The only one who knows how you really feel,
The only one who knows why-
You made the choices you made, the things you missed,
Or the fears that you have stowed deep inside.
You may find yourself buried under life’s woes,
Darkness may seem to be staying too long.
And no matter how many times you have heard them say,
It is true – this too shall pass away.
Strive to rise, failure is a better teacher than not trying at all.
Save your breath for the next rung, and not to explain yourself.
Step towards the light and you will see-
You are stronger than you know, braver than you think.
